Kids, education and character IP
Branding for children’s and education brands, from a studio with its own world.
Children and parents choose differently. A children's brand has to delight one and reassure the other; an education brand has to earn trust before anyone enrols. We have built both, and a learning world of our own.

In short
Characters, worlds and education brands, built to last.
Pixnut creates characters, storyworlds and brands for children's and education businesses. The studio's own property, Gulsabi, is a curiosity-first learning world for children aged 3 to 8, written, designed, animated and built in house. Migorb, an education and migration-services brand, was built end to end, from identity to brochure.
That means we know what it takes for a character to stay the same across a video, a game and a worksheet, and for an education brand to read as trustworthy on a phone, in print and in a parent's group chat.
Two audiences
What each audience needs to see.
Children
A character they recognise and want to see again, a world with its own rules, and play that does not feel like a lesson.
Parents
What a child will learn, who made it, and whether it is safe and worth the time. Said plainly, on the first screen.
Students
For an education brand: what the course leads to, how it works and why this provider, before they enquire.
Teachers and partners
Materials they can use straight away, and a brand consistent enough to trust in front of a class.
Characters
A character is a system, not a drawing.
A character that looks different in every video, game and worksheet stops being a character. It becomes a series of drawings. What makes one last is the system behind it: a personality written down, turnarounds from every side, rules for expression and colour, and a world it belongs to.
That is how Gulsabi was built, in two modes with one set of rules, so animators, illustrators and developers all draw the same character. We build client properties the same way.
Who it is for
Brands that children love and adults trust.
Children's products and media
Toy, book, app and content brands that need a character or a world, not only a logo.
Schools, tutors and learning platforms
Education brands that must earn a parent's or a student's trust before the first enrolment.
Brands that want their own IP
Businesses that want characters they own and can grow into stories, games and products.
Signs it is time
When the brand is not doing its job for children or parents.
- Your mascot looks different in every illustrator's hands
- Parents cannot tell from your website what a child will learn
- Your content has no character a child would ask for by name
- Each course or product looks like a separate business
- You want to grow a property into videos, games or products
How it runs
From the idea to a world people can enter.
Understand both audiences
What children enjoy and what parents, teachers or students need to see before they trust it.
Define the world or the brand
The idea, the values and the voice: for a property, the world and its rules; for an education brand, the promise and its proof.
Design the characters or the identity
Characters with personalities and turnarounds, or an identity system with its guidelines.
Build the formats
Videos, games, worksheets, websites, brochures or social content, each in the same voice.
Hand over the rules
Guidelines that let animators, illustrators, developers and partners extend the work without breaking it.
What you receive
A world, or a brand, with rules.
| Deliverable | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Character design and turnarounds | Front, side and back views, so every artist draws the same character. |
| Storyworld and rules | Places, cast and the logic of the world, so new stories have somewhere to come from. |
| Identity and guidelines | For an education brand: mark, colour, type, voice and the rules that hold them. |
| Formats | Videos, games, worksheets, websites or print, as the property or brand needs. |
| Ownership terms | For client IP, ownership and licensing are set in the project agreement. |
Proof
What we have built.
- Gulsabi
- Pixnut's own learning world for children aged 3 to 8: videos, free browser games and printable worksheets are live at gulsabi.com. An AI Buddy is in development and not yet available. Gulsabi qualified for the Stage 3 in-person pitching round of ELEVATE 2026, the Karnataka Idea2PoC programme.
- Migorb
- An education and migration-services brand built end to end: initial brand, identity, website, digital communication, social content and print collateral. A historical project.
- Initial brand and identity
- Website and digital communication
- Social content and print collateral, including a brochure in one consistent voice
Pixnut understood what we wanted Migorb to stand for and translated that into a clear, distinctive brand identity. What impressed me was the thought behind the work: every detail had a purpose, and everything felt like part of one cohesive brand.
