About this website

The homepage of the website Pixnut planned and built: the three divisions (screen printing, garment trims and accessories, and Studio by Simsotex), the industries served, the materials and finishes library, the collections, the production process, guides for brands, and the enquiry routes.

Complexity organised. Capability made discoverable.

Client
Simsotex, an established apparel-branding manufacturer.
Engagement
Website and search discoverability, as a standalone assignment. Digital & Experiences.
Pixnut’s role
Planning, information architecture, content organisation, design, development, and SEO, AEO and GEO foundations.
Not in scope
The Simsotex name and corporate identity, which existed before Pixnut.

The question

How does an established manufacturer make the depth of its expertise visible to the buyers searching for it?

Project

The brief.

Communicate an established manufacturer’s breadth of technical capability to prospective industry buyers, and make it easy to find.

Simsotex was already an established manufacturer when Pixnut became involved: it decorates garments for apparel brands (screen printing, heat transfers, specialist finishes, labels, trims and packaging) in its own facility in Noida. Its company and corporate identity predate Pixnut’s work.

  • Website strategy and information architecture: industry-first navigation, planned from wireframes
  • Organisation of products, finishes, industries and technical content
  • Website design and development
  • SEO implementation, AEO and GEO foundations, and technical optimisation

Decisions

Key decisions.

Industry first
Navigation organised the way sourcing teams search: by industry, then technique and finish, rather than by the company’s internal departments.
Technical content
Products, finishes and processes connected to the buyer needs they answer, with a resources library of guides for brands.
Proof
The client’s own photography of finishes, processes and the facility, instead of generic imagery.
Discoverability
Search and AI search built into the architecture: metadata and structured data on every page, plus a sitemap, crawler policy and llms.txt summary for the whole site.
