Cookie Policy

Short version: this site sets no cookies unless you allow Google Analytics, which it asks about on your first visit. Without that, it stores only a note that the opening animation has played and a note of your answer. There are no advertising trackers.
Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep and hand back on the next request. Local storage and session storage do a similar job in a different way: the browser keeps the value and the page reads it, but nothing is sent back to a server automatically.
Because all three affect what is stored on your device, all three are listed here rather than only the one that is technically a cookie.

That is the whole list. If it changes, this table and the date at the top of the page change with it.
Two kinds of storage
Essential. A session note that the opening animation has played, cleared when you close the tab, and a note of your answer to the analytics question, kept for twelve months so it is asked once a year. Neither identifies you or is sent anywhere.
Analytics, only if you allow it. Two Google Analytics cookies holding a random number, so visits can be counted and returning visits recognised, and a session note of how your visit began, which reaches us only with an enquiry and never goes to Google. Nothing from Google loads until you say yes.
What this site does not do
There are no advertising or remarketing cookies, no conversion pixels, no social media trackers, no embedded videos or social feeds, and no third-party fonts. The typefaces are served from our own domain, so opening a page does not announce your visit to a font network.
One exception is worth naming. The enquiry form runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set its own short-lived storage while it works out whether the submission is coming from a person. It is a security check rather than analytics, it loads only when you reach the contact section, and it does not follow you between sites.
Your choice
The site asks once whether it may use Google Analytics. Saying no changes nothing about how the site works. You can change your answer at any time with Cookie preferences at the foot of every page; withdrawing removes the analytics cookies.
Controlling this in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete site data in its privacy settings. Doing that here clears what is listed above: the opening animation will play again, the site will ask the analytics question again, and any Google Analytics cookies are removed. Nothing else on the site depends on stored data.
A tracker blocker will also stop the cookieless page counting our hosting provider does, which the Privacy Policy describes, and the site works exactly the same without it.
